About us

Debolina's Creative Corner is a sole proprietorship based in Konnagar, Hooghly, West Bengal, India, creating hand-painted sarees and textiles to order.

The nature of our work

Every piece we make is hand-painted to order. Because each item is created individually by hand:

• Slight variations in colour, placement and finish are natural and are part of the character of hand-painted work — they are not defects.
• Colours may appear differently on your screen than on the finished fabric, due to display differences and the nature of the materials.
• Any preview or illustration shown on our website is indicative only. Your final design is prepared by our artisans and shared with you for approval before we begin.

Placing an order

Our custom order process works as follows:

1. You share your design idea, fabric and colour preferences with us.
2. Our artisans prepare a design preview and share it with you for approval.
3. Once you approve the design, we raise an invoice for a 30% advance to confirm your order.
4. Your order enters our painting queue. Work begins when your slot is reached.
5. When your piece is complete, we raise an invoice for the remaining 70% balance. This is payable before dispatch.
6. Once the balance is received, we dispatch your piece and share tracking details.

We keep you updated at each stage via WhatsApp.

Pricing and payment

• Prices are quoted individually for each commission, depending on the design, fabric and complexity.
• Where you provide your own fabric, our charge is for the design and painting work. Where we source fabric on your behalf, this is quoted separately.
• All payments are processed securely through our payment gateway.
• The 30% advance confirms your order and reserves your place in our queue.

Customer responsibilities

• Please provide accurate contact and delivery details. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information.
• Where you supply your own fabric, you are responsible for ensuring it is suitable and reaches us in good condition.
• Please review and approve your design preview carefully — this is the stage to request changes.

Intellectual property

All designs, images, and content on this website are the property of Debolina's Creative Corner unless otherwise stated. Custom designs we create remain our creative work; commissioning a piece does not transfer design ownership or the right to reproduce it.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of West Bengal.
